In addition to providing various legal services to Hungarians, I am mainly a lawyer in the field of real estate law for people from abroad. I draw up the purchase contract, ensure that any encumbrances on the plot have been resolved and arrange the registration with the Land Registry. In Hungary, a lawyer is indispensable to acquire property.
It's about you
I take a “customer first” approach in my work by providing you with transparant and complete information so you can make an informed decision about your case. In many cases, my background as an ex-government official helps me to provide you with complete information. A big advantage is my extensive network and that I can work with the older generation of my family, namely my father, and join forces if necessary.
Personally
I live partly in the Netherlands (Groningen) and partly in Hungary (Eger) with my Dutch husband and am the proud mother of a son who studies in Budapest. Table tennis is my favourite hobby and my family is my great passion. We have a sweet, crazy dachshund and together with the whole family we like to take long walks in the forests of the Bükk Mountains. During the long warm summers we spend as much time as possible at Lake Balaton.
Study and career
In 1998 I graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Janus Pannonius University of Pécs. I started my career as an intern attorney in my father’s office, then self-employed and worked in public administration for over a decade as head of the legal department of the Heves County Public Defender’s Office.
Since January 1, 2002, I have been a registered member of the Heves County Regional Bar Association.
